Concept Creation
Capturing life stories through interviews provides a video which can be cherished for a life time. It was important to provide a genuine and powerful story to the production process, outlining this through storyboards and timelines. Pre production included location finalisation, informing the talent of interview questions and camera plans.
Camerawork
Utilising the Black Magic Pocket Camera, Raimund was captured in a tradition interview setting, while also incorporating b-roll footage for exaggeration on storytelling. Coupled together,
the pair resonated audiences and demonstrated his passion for golf, creating a heartfelt interview.
B-roll was an essential part of the interview, demonstrating additional visuals aiding in storytelling. To make sure the
project went smoothly, a timeline was finalised which set
a day for shooting and two weeks for editing, taking into
account video editing, audio editing and colour correction.
Post Production
After a successful shoot, video and sound was combined to produce the first draft of the interview. Further colour correction and audio editing was combined to create effects throughout
the interview, working to consistent feedback.
Overview
The final interview was a great success, offering a meaningful insight into Raimund's passion for golf.
Collaborating with Raimund throughout the interview process resulted in a genuine project, rich with
emotion and achievements. I look forward to learning more about Raimund's life story in the future.
