As part of my role at the Australian Public Service Commission, I was responsible for developing the APS Professions branding kit and branding guide, ensuring consistency and cohesion across all APS Professions communications. These documents serve as key resources for maintaining a unified visual identity, providing clear guidelines on typography, colour palettes, logo usage, and other essential branding elements.
Branding kit and branding guide

A crucial aspect of the APS Professions branding was ensuring consistency across a diverse range of APS Professions logos, each developed by their respective fields. The branding kit played a fundamental role in unifying these professions by allowing design teams to incorporate key elements from the main APS Professions branding into their own designs. This approach helped maintain a strong and recognisable visual identity across all APS Professions.

In addition to creating these foundational documents, I also contributed to the graphic elements for the APS Professions website, helping to establish a professional and engaging digital presence. My work involved designing logo icons, graphic banners, and photographic headshots that aligned with the APS brand while enhancing user experience and accessibility. Ensuring compliance with WCAG colour contrast standards was essential in making the website visually accessible to a wide range of users. These accessibility principles were also incorporated into the branding kit and guide to ensure all future designs met accessibility requirements.
This project required a deep understanding of graphic design principles, branding strategies, and accessibility standards. By combining my expertise in these areas, I delivered a cohesive visual system that supports the APS Professions' mission and communication goals.
